These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SureShortlist. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by every provision.

This platform is for users 18+ years of age.

User

Anyone who accesses or uses our platform in any capacity.

Services

All features, tools, and AI-generated content we provide.

AI Output

Content generated by our AI systems.

2. Acceptance

By using our platform, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

Important Notice

Our AI provides assistance but does not guarantee employment outcomes. All AI-generated content should be carefully reviewed and verified.

You are responsible for ensuring all content is accurate and truthful.

5. Accounts

Some features require an account. You're responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Keeping your credentials secure
  • All activities under your account

One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Billing

  • Auto-renewal until cancelled
  • 14-day notice for price changes
  • Taxes may apply

Refund Policy

All refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Paid plans are final and non-refundable except in limited circumstances. Please review it before making a purchase.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

You own your data, but grant us permission to use it to improve our services and train AI models.

Our Platform

All platform content, AI models, and designs are our property. You get a limited license for personal use.

No scraping, reverse engineering, or creating competing products.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:

  • Use the Platform in any manner that violates any applicable law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated career information to generate fraudulent resumes.
  • Use AI Output to misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or damage the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
  • Upload any virus, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Use the Platform to harass, abuse, threaten, or defame any person.
  • Circumvent any technical measures or security features.
  • Use the Platform to facilitate any fraudulent scheme.

SureShortlist reserves the right to take any and all actions it deems appropriate in response to prohibited conduct, including immediate account termination, legal proceedings, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1 SureShortlist collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9.2 SureShortlist complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Rules, 2011.

9.3 You acknowledge that your resume data, career history, and any other User Content you provide are sensitive in nature.

9.4 SureShortlist may share your data with third-party service providers (including AI API providers, payment processors, and analytics tools) as necessary to provide the Services.

9.5 SureShortlist reserves the right to disclose your data to law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES, AI OUTPUT, CONTENT, AND MATERIALS OFFERED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Indian law, SureShortlist expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, accuracy of AI Output, and any employment or career outcomes arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

This section significantly limits SureShortlist's liability. Please read carefully.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, in no event shall SureShortlist be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages; loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill; damages arising from loss of employment opportunity; or damages arising from reliance on AI Output.

SureShortlist's total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to SureShortlist in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 1,000 (One Thousand Rupees), whichever is lower.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SureShortlist from and against any and all claims arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Platform, your User Content, any AI Output you use, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and any employer or third party arising from your use of the Platform.

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

13.1 Good Faith Resolution - In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. You must notify SureShortlist in writing at [email protected], describing the nature of the Dispute in reasonable detail. The parties shall negotiate in good faith for a period of 60 days.

13.2 Mandatory Arbitration - If the Dispute is not resolved within the Resolution Period, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator, seated in New Delhi, India, in the English language, and kept strictly confidential.

13.3 No Class Actions - ALL DISPUTES SHALL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO INITIATE, PARTICIPATE IN, OR SEEK RELIEF THROUGH ANY CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, OR CONSOLIDATED ARBITRATION PROCEEDING.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts of New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter arising under or relating to these Terms.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, including AI API providers, payment gateways, job boards, and analytics tools. SureShortlist has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, availability, or terms of any Third-Party Services.

16. Suspension and Termination

SureShortlist reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Platform and/or your account, at any time and without prior notice, for breach of these Terms, fraud, violation of law, conduct harmful to the Platform, non-payment, or extended inactivity.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms shall immediately cease. No refunds shall be issued upon termination.

17. General Provisions

17.1 Severability - If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17.2 Waiver - No failure or delay by SureShortlist to exercise any right shall operate as a waiver thereof.

17.3 Assignment - SureShortlist may freely assign its rights and obligations under these Terms at any time without your consent.

17.4 Force Majeure - SureShortlist shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

17.5 Entire Agreement - These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies published on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and SureShortlist.
